Fuel Poverty Case Studies
There are estimated to be 15,000 households suffering from fuel poverty and cold homes in Brighton & Hove. Each year in our city, an average of 135 people die because of the cold. This is unacceptable.
BHESCo offers free energy bill advice to vulnerable households in the city. In the last three years, we have helped 650 people to save £30,700 collectively on their energy bills. But we know we need to do more.
If you or someone you know struggles to pay their energy bill or heat their home, then let us know and we’ll do everything we can to help.
