We all have a personal responsibility for climate change. Not everyone can have solar panels on their roof or afford an electric car, but everyone can make a positive choice about where their home energy comes from.
Today, with the continued research and advancement in the field of renewable energy, grids powered in part or fully by renewable sources are typically as reliable as those using standard power generation.
The sun delivers more energy to Earth in one hour than humanity consumes over the course of a year.
In order to power the entire earth on renewable energy, we would need to install solar panels on over 191,000 square miles. Considering there are over 57 million square miles of land on earth, this is a very achievable goal, if we have the willpower.
So why hasn’t everybody switched to renewable energy?
