Brighton & Hove Energy Services Co-op (BHESCo) are delivering several initiatives in ‘The Deans’ area of East Brighton to help households and business-owners upgrade insulation and introduce renewable energy.

Ovingdean
BHESCo have partnered with Ovingdean Community Energy (OCE) to plan and deliver a decarbonisation pathway for the village – funded by GB Energy’s Community Energy Fund.
We are looking for households who are interested in participating in a community-scale solar power programme.
Saltdean
BHESCo are working with Saltdean Climate Action Network (SCAN) to prepare a Decarbonisation Plan for the area.
We are inviting local residents to contribute to the development of this plan, providing insights and ideas to inform an affordable and cost-effective strategy that benefits everyone.
Rottingdean
Located right on the coast, Rottingdean Village has many older properties that suffer from damp issues caused by the seaside air.
