Preston Park Community Energy

Residents of Preston Park in Brighton have teamed up with BHESCo and OneZero on a community scale solar power programme.

For no upfront cost, households in the area can get solar panels and battery storage installed on their homes, bringing down long-term energy costs and carbon emissions.

The solar power systems will be designed and installed by Lewes based installer OneZero.

Project financing and ongoing maintenance will be provided by BHESCo.

Households will enter into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), committing to buy solar electricity generated by the panels for a 25 year timeframe.
