Since the start of the Leave No One Behind programme, BHESCo has delivered 2,193 energy advice sessions and completed 121 home visits, helping households identify practical ways to reduce energy use and stay warm.

Through various sources of support, BHESCo have secured over £100,000 in grants and financial assistance for clients and provided essential energy saving items to more than 500 households across Brighton & Hove. This work has enabled us to reach residents who are often the most at risk of fuel poverty.

Jeff Smale, BHESCo’s Energy Advisor in charge of delivering the Leave No One Behind programme, said:

“Working on the Leave No One Behind programme has been a privilege, both in supporting the people of the vibrant communities in Brighton and Hove and the surrounding areas, and networking with a variety of support workers and agencies that are quietly becoming the backbone of local support for residents facing difficult circumstances.

I’d personally like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our partners and colleagues whose collaboration has made this impact possible“.

The Leave No One Behind program provided by UK Power Networks through Community Energy Pathways has helped BHESCo reach hundreds of vulnerable households struggling with rising energy costs, ensuring they receive the guidance, resources, and financial support they urgently needed.
