BHESCo have launched a new bond offer to raise £580,000 for the installation of solar panels on five schools in the Brighton and Hove area.
BHESCo are offering the opportunity for one lucky neighbourhood in our city to be part of a demonstration project aiming to show what can be done at a community level to make homes warmer to live in and cheaper to heat.
The programme will also look at developing a community solar power programme which will be installed at no upfront cost for participating homes.
Despite energy costs coming down this winter, with less Government support available, millions of energy bill payers across the UK will struggle to afford the cost of their heat and power.
At a time when millions are struggling with the cost of heat and power, here are a few examples of the BHESCo team making a huge impact to help those at risk of fuel poverty
